Vito Leblanc Beaugnier Model 35 System Alto Saxophone
For Sale is a Vito Model 35 made for Leblanc by Beaugnier in France. I believe the parts for this horn were made in France but it was assembled in USA, but I'm not sure. Horn is in very good condition, the only dent of note is on the bow where the low foot on one of the key-guards is pushed in a little. This doesn't affect the tone holes or the playing of the instrument. The sax plays well on a mix of old and new pads. It is sealing fine, but most of the pads are older, so they should be changed if you intend to make this a gigging horn. I think it is original lacquer... the lacquer was definitely put on after the engraving, so it looks like a relacquer, but all of the horns of this model that I have seen look like this. This horn was part of a very short run and this one is number 709A. The alternate fingerings on this horn are really neat, but it can be played with standard fingerings as well. It has a great fat dark tone and good intonation. ships in an old worn out case. shipping is calculated based on location, international bidders welcome.
